This radio station offers diverse programming.
A nonprofit community radio station broadcasting at 101.7 MHz in the Allegheny Highlands of northwestern Pennsylvania, licensed by the FCC as a low-power FM (LPFM) facility. Operated by the Kane Area Radio Association, a Pennsylvania 501(c)(3) corporation, the station carries a freeform format encompassing a wide range of music genres alongside local news, high school sports play-by-play, community event coverage, and weekly church service broadcasts. Weather forecasts are provided through a partnership with a local meteorologist. The station is a network affiliate of the syndicated Pink Floyd program Floydian Slip. The station received its original construction permit on January 15, 2014, was assigned its call sign on January 29, 2014, and began licensed operation on August 14 of that year. Its establishment restored FCC-licensed, locally originated radio to the area after the closure of AM station WQLE (formerly WKZA) in 1992 and the departure of what became WCOP in the early 2010s. The station initially operated from a former commercial radio studio before purchasing the transmission tower adjacent to those facilities in 2018 and constructing a dedicated studio building at its base. Specialty programming airs each weekend, and the station is supported entirely through listener donations.
