WLTH has served as a launching point for several notable broadcasting careers. Alumni include Steve King, who later worked at WLS and WGN; Felicia Middlebrooks, who had a long tenure at WBBM before retiring; Michael King, who moved to television at WXIA-TV; and Tommy Williams, who later joined WSCR. Dinahlynn Biggs hosted a popular program at the station for over 38 years, reaching an audience exceeding 500,000 listeners before the show concluded in June 2017. R.
