A low-power radio and television facility in the Jackson, Mississippi metropolitan area, operating under the Rainey Radio ownership group. The WJMF call sign has a history spanning both television and radio broadcasting. The predecessor low-power television station, WJMF-LP, was originally a Univision affiliate rebroadcasting a satellite feed from KUOK in Oklahoma City, making it Univision's sole Mississippi affiliate and the state's only Spanish-language television outlet at the time. Following a 2009 auction sale to Rainey Radio, the facility was relaunched in early 2011 as a classic hits-formatted radio outlet known as EZ 87.7, operating on channel 6. A Saturday evening request program hosted by Gearshift Gary was added in June 2015. The radio format ceased operation on July 13, 2021, with the classic hits programming migrated to WZQK. The facility was subsequently licensed for digital television operation in January 2022 and redesignated as WJMF-LD. The current programming seen on the station's digital platform includes live event coverage, local sports including Jackson Prep and MAC athletics, and local community news with Flowood city coverage.
