An internet radio station founded by Mando Fresko, the stage name of Armando Ponce Montes, a Los Angeles-born broadcaster, DJ, actor, television host, and entrepreneur. Fresko began his entertainment career at age 14 as a DJ at high school events in South Gate, California. While attending college, he launched an early internet radio programme that drew listeners from multiple countries, at times overloading the station's servers due to audience demand. At 18, Fresko joined the promotions department of Los Angeles hip hop station Power 106 (KPWR-FM), eventually becoming one of the youngest on-air personalities in the station's history, hosting shifts across all dayparts and conducting interviews with nationally prominent artists and entertainers. He remained with Power 106 for approximately 15 years, during which the station drew more than two million daily listeners, before departing in 2019. Fresko also pursued work in television, serving as host and music coordinator for LATV Live beginning in 2007, reaching an audience of over 86 million homes through the LATV Networks. He later joined MTV as host and producer for Tr3s and MTV2. In late 2019 he launched the morning show for Cali 93.9 (KLLI-FM). In parallel, he pursued fashion collaborations with Orisue and Nike, DJ work for the Grammy-nominated group LMFAO, and production through his company Hubwav Media. The station presents Spanish-language popular music programming.
