The station broadcasts at 50,000 watts — the maximum power permitted for commercial AM stations — using a non-directional daytime antenna and a directional antenna at night to avoid interference with Class A stations KOKC in Oklahoma City and WWKB in Buffalo on the shared clear channel frequency of 1520 kHz.
