The station is owned by Leighton Broadcasting and branded as Wave 104.1. It is promoted alongside sister stations AM 1340 KDLM and Real Country 102.3 KRCQ, which together form a cluster of Leighton Broadcasting outlets in the Detroit Lakes market. The station adopted its current adult contemporary format and Wave 104.1 identity in September 2010, transitioning from a country format it had operated under the Wild 104.1 brand. Following a brief stunting period as All Request 104.1, the station officially relaunched under the Wave name on September 27, 2010.
