KALA-FM Radio HD-1

A campus radio station affiliated with a university, broadcasting to the Eastern Iowa and Western Illinois region at 88.5 FM and serving the metro Quad Cities area at 106.1 FM at 10,000 watts of transmitting power. Audio from both frequencies is also available via online streaming. In addition to its two over-the-air signals, the operation includes a student-programmed online station. The station provides on-air opportunities for students pursuing careers in broadcasting, with roles available for disc jockeys, sports announcers, copywriters, and production assistants. Station offices and production facilities are located in a fine arts center on the university campus.
