This radio station offers diverse programming.
A radio station broadcasting a New Country format at 107.7 FM, licensed to Nelsonville, Ohio, and owned by Nelsonville TV Cable under the management of TMCR Broadcasting. The station serves a community where commercial television coverage is limited, making radio a primary source of local news for area residents. The station signed on September 29, 1989, initially using the call sign WSNV. It changed to WAIS-FM in January 1990, then adopted its current call sign WSEO in July 1990. Early operations were conducted from studios above the parent company's cable facilities in downtown Nelsonville before the owner constructed a dedicated cinder-block building on U.S. Route 33 near the Hocking River in the early 1990s. The new facility also housed sister AM station WAIS. In 1993, the station became notable as the first in Ohio to operate a fully digital production environment for commercial, music, and news production. Programming features an all-request hour called The Cattle Drive at 5, airing daily at 5 PM with listener call-ins for requests and dedications. A themed countdown hour called the Se7en airs at 7 PM. The station also broadcasts high school sports and provides community information programming.
