The station underwent multiple format transformations including adult standards and Music of Your Life programming during the 1970s, contemporary Christian music in the 1980s, oldies in the late 1980s, business news in the early 1990s, and Christian country music. By the 1990s the station shifted to urban gospel and religious programming. Ownership passed to Crawford Broadcasting Company in the mid-1990s. The station operated as an adult standards and oldies station under the Legends call letters from 1999 to 2006. Since 2007 it has broadcast a talk format featuring conservative talk radio, Christian talk and teaching programs, and southern gospel music.
