Leeds Student Radio

Leeds Student Radio broadcasts from Leeds University Union at the University of Leeds, with programming in English during term time. The station is run by an elected committee of student volunteers, with management overseen by a full-time station manager employed by Leeds University Union. Its format includes music and talk, and Leeds Student Radio also streams through its official website. The station’s roots include student broadcasting activity in the 1960s, followed by a radio studio and adjoining control room built in 1968 on the top floor of the students’ union building.
