The station has covered the release of new music from the band The Heels, formed in 2016 by young students from Fornos de Algodres. Initially, the band played classic rock, transitioning to the funk rock style of the Red Hot Chili Peppers. After completing secondary education, band members pursued higher education in Music and Musical Production, leading to the composition of original music starting in 2020. Their debut with original material occurred in 2021. In 2022, they recorded their first EP, "Breaking Box," which was produced and mixed by Lucas Mirovski and Leopoldo Lopes. This EP received positive reception, including airplay on national radio stations and mentions on specific radio programs. In 2025, they released the single "Summertime is Gone," which also received airplay on national radio, including a program hosted by Henrique Amaro. The current year, 2026, marks the release of the EP "Reflections," which includes "Summertime's Gone" and two new tracks, "Jungle" and "Awake." These songs are available on digital platforms. The band members are increasingly involved in the alternative artistic scene and are working on various new projects.
