Badradio is an Auckland-based online station from New Zealand focused on underground music from independent artists. Its stream runs through the official Badradio website, with programming in English and a variety format centered on phonk, trap, hip hop, chill, and related underground sounds. The station says its rotation is curated manually from tracks sent directly by artists, without ads, record labels, or auto-generated playlists. Badradio is created and run by Paul Grey, an independent operator based in New Zealand, who curates the rotation, builds the site and apps, and handles artist conversations personally.
