Founded in 2004 by Arjan and Daniëlle, the station aimed to provide a platform for those who experienced the 90s, with Arjan having a background as a DJ at parties and on Dutch radio, and Daniëlle having a passion for 90s hip-hop and rap. Initially featuring all genres of the 90s, the station later refined its focus after ten years to exclusively include music played in clubs and at parties, emphasizing danceable tracks. This specialization created a dedicated fanbase. The programming includes many tracks that were not released on CD but were exclusively played by DJs in club settings. Since Daniëlle's passing in 2022, Arjan has continued to run the station. Once a month, on Friday evenings, exclusive DJ sets from resident DJs are broadcast. Miss Mana has been contributing DJ sets since 2016. Listeners can request tracks to be added to the playlist.
