About Tuninga Radio
Tuninga Radio is a global radio directory and web player operated by Njund Media Group. We help listeners discover and open live radio stations by country, city, genre, language, and station name.
Our goal is simple: make radio easier to explore on the open web without forcing listeners to install an app first.
What listeners can do on Tuninga
- 50,000+ stations from over 190 countries
- Browse by location — find stations near you or explore a specific city or country
- Filter by genre — music, news, talk, sports, and more
- Search — look up stations by name, frequency, or call sign
- Favorites & history — save stations you like and revisit recent listens
- Works on any device — no app to download, just open your browser
What Tuninga is and is not
Tuninga is a directory and playback interface. In most cases, the audio streams available through Tuninga are hosted by the radio stations themselves or by their authorized distribution partners.
Tuninga is not the broadcaster, publisher, or owner of the radio programming carried by the stations listed on the platform unless that relationship is stated explicitly on a specific page.
How station listings are sourced
Our listings are built from publicly available station data and stream endpoints gathered from official station websites, public directories, platform integrations, distribution feeds, and internal review workflows.
A station page may include:
- Station name, brand, and stream endpoint
- City, region, and country
- Broadcast frequency when available
- Genre and language metadata
- Official website and public social profiles
- Operator or network information when available
We do not claim that every field is perfect at all times. Radio metadata changes frequently, especially for logos, stream URLs, formats, frequencies, ownership, and local branding.
How we review and maintain metadata
We regularly review listings to improve accuracy and remove broken or stale data. This may include:
- Updating stream URLs when a station changes providers
- Refreshing names, logos, and station descriptions
- Correcting country, city, genre, or language assignments
- Removing dead, duplicate, or low-confidence listings
- Reviewing ownership and official-link data when we can verify it
Some updates are automated, while others are reviewed manually. Because broadcast data changes across markets and providers, listing freshness can vary by station and country.
Methodology and editorial principles
When we structure a station page, our priority is usefulness and traceability. We aim to:
- Present the most recognizable station name and public-facing identity.
- Associate the station with the most relevant place and country context.
- Prefer official or clearly attributable source links where available.
- Keep descriptions factual, concise, and tied to station identity, coverage, or format.
- Avoid implying ownership, partnership, or endorsement where none exists.
If a data point cannot be verified confidently, we would rather leave it out than overstate it.
Streaming and playback
Tuninga connects listeners to live streams through the browser. When a station stream is reachable, playback can start directly from the station page or from the radio player experience.
Playback availability depends on the upstream stream source. A station may be temporarily unavailable if:
- The broadcaster changes or removes the stream
- A regional restriction is applied by the upstream provider
- The stream is offline, rate-limited, or misconfigured
- Metadata is still being reviewed after a recent change
Ownership and transparency
Tuninga Radio is operated by Njund Media Group, a technology company based in Santiago, Chile. We build discovery and publishing products that make media easier to access across borders, devices, and languages.
If Tuninga links to a station, logo, social account, or website, that does not by itself mean the station is owned by, partnered with, or endorsed by Njund Media Group.
Updates, corrections, and rights requests
If you represent a station, network, rights holder, or authorized partner, you can contact us to request:
- Metadata corrections
- Logo or branding updates
- Official website or social-link changes
- Review of a stream URL
- Removal or rights review of a listing asset
Please include as much detail as possible, such as the station name, country, city, page URL, and the exact field that needs review. If you are making a rights-related request, include the basis for the request and the best way for our team to verify it.
We review requests manually and investigate based on the information available to us.
Response expectations
We cannot guarantee a fixed resolution time for every request, but we do use our contact channel to review accuracy, rights, and listing-quality issues. The clearest requests are usually resolved fastest.
For corrections, the most helpful messages include:
- The exact Tuninga page URL
- The official station website
- The incorrect information currently shown
- The corrected information you want us to review
- Proof of authority when the request involves ownership, rights, or branding
