A commercial FM radio station broadcasting a Top 40 (CHR) format, branded as "WEOW 92.7" and commonly referred to as "WOW 92.7." The station is licensed to Fiorini Keys Media, LLC, and holds the distinction of being the southernmost Top 40 station in the continental United States. Broadcasting at 100,000 watts, its signal covers an area stretching from Key Largo, Florida, to Havana, Cuba. The station has a lengthy history in the Florida Keys. It launched on February 20, 1967, as WFYN-FM at 92.5 MHz under Florida Keys Broadcasting Corporation — the first FM station in the Florida Keys — initially airing a beautiful music format alongside AM sister station WKIZ 1500. The format shifted to adult contemporary in 1982, and the call sign changed to WEOW with the branding "WOW 92.5." In 1990 the station moved to a Top 40 format. Clear Channel Communications later acquired the station and shifted its frequency to 92.7 MHz. Following a period in the Aloha Stations Trust, the station was acquired in 2014 by newly formed Florida Keys Media for $650,000. The station subsequently moved to live and local talent, rebuilding its on-air lineup. It has no current affiliation with iHeartMedia despite a logo style visually similar to the KISS-FM brand.
