A commercial FM radio station licensed to San Mateo, California, owned and operated by Cumulus Media and broadcasting a classic rock format to the greater San Francisco Bay Area. The station is the FM flagship of the San Francisco 49ers Radio Network. Studios and offices are located in Daly City, with the transmitter sited on San Bruno Mountain in Brisbane, operating with an effective radiated power of 8,900 watts. It launched in 1963 as KUFY, airing easy listening and beautiful music programming as the FM counterpart of KOFY.
