In May 1984, KRIC moved to 100.5 MHz and boosted power to 75,000 watts. In 2011, the station relocated to 94.3 MHz as part of a coordinated multi-state frequency reassignment involving several stations in Rexburg and Idaho Falls. Sister station KBYR-FM at 91.5 operates with a religious format.
