Dieser Radiosender bietet ein vielfältiges Programm.

A commercial AM radio station licensed at 1490 kHz and also simulcast on FM translator K278CN at 103.5 MHz, operating under the branding "The News 1490." Currently owned by Jason Zinzileta and Janice Derks through Prescott Broadcasting, LLC, the station features a talk radio format and maintains studios on Commercial Way. The station signed on October 1, 1940, making it one of the longer-running broadcast outlets in northern Arizona. It was originally connected to the Arizona Radio Network and came under the ownership of Phoenix-based KTAR in 1944. The Silverstein family acquired it in 1970 and held it for nearly five decades until the death of Lou Silverstein prompted a 2017 sale to Phoenix Radio Broadcasting. The station began its transition toward news-talk programming in 1988 with the launch of The Rush Limbaugh Show, followed by The Dr. Dean Edell Show. Over subsequent years it carried syndicated programming from commentators including Laura Ingraham, Michael Savage, and Lars Larson, while also affiliating with Fox News Radio and Westwood One for national content. In 2018 Southwest Broadcasting completed the sale to Phoenix Radio Broadcasting, a holding company linked to the Cesar Chavez Foundation's Farmworker Educational Radio Network. That ownership ended in May 2021 when Prescott Broadcasting purchased the station for $1.03 million. Current programming emphasizes local news coverage, with reporting on municipal government, infrastructure projects, water policy, and public safety matters relevant to the Prescott area.
