Dieser Radiosender bietet ein vielfältiges Programm.

WMFE-FM is a listener-supported public radio station broadcasting at 90.7 MHz, owned by Community Communications, Inc. It serves as Central Florida's National Public Radio (NPR) member station, carrying a format of news and information. Most programming is simulcast on WMFV (89.5 FM) in Cedar Creek, Florida. The station's studios are located at the Hugh F. McKean Public Broadcasting Center on East Colonial Drive, and the transmitter operates at 100,000 watts — the maximum permitted for non-grandfathered FM stations — situated on TV Tower Road in Bithlo. The station signed on July 14, 1980. In its early years, the format included classical music and jazz alongside NPR news programming, though jazz was dropped in 1983. Before WMFE-FM launched as a full-time public radio station, Orlando had been the largest radio market in the nation without dedicated full-time public radio coverage. Over time, music programming was gradually replaced with additional informational and public affairs content. In November 2009, the primary HD1 channel transitioned to an all-news and talk format drawing from NPR and other public radio sources, while HD2 became the home for classical music and weekend specialty programming. In 2011, Community Communications announced plans to sell its PBS television sister station WMFE-TV due to financial pressures, while retaining the radio license. The television sale was ultimately redirected, with the University of Central Florida acquiring the TV station in 2012 under the new call letters WUCF-TV. Current programming covers Central Florida news, government and politics, education, and environmental reporting.
