A commercial radio station licensed to Avalon, New Jersey, broadcasting on 94.3 MHz with a classic hits format emphasizing music from the 1980s, with songs from the 1960s and 1970s also featured. The station is owned and operated by WIBG Limited Liability Company, with studios in Ocean City and its transmitter situated west of the city. The station signed on March 29, 1976, originally carrying the call letters WWOC with a beautiful music format. It subsequently underwent multiple call sign changes — to WXNJ in 1992, back to WWOC in 1993, then WWZK in 2001, WILW in 2005, and finally WIBG-FM in August 2009. The 2009 rebranding coincided with a transmitter relocation from Swainton to Palermo, New Jersey, and a doubling of transmission power to 6,000 watts, significantly extending the station's coverage to include both Cape May and Atlantic Counties, as well as portions of Ocean and Cumberland Counties. A further signal increase in August 2023 strengthened reception in the Atlantic City, Brigantine, and Long Beach Island areas. The current branding draws on the legacy of the original WIBBAGE, a well-known Philadelphia AM station prominent in the 1950s through 1970s. Rick Brancadora, the owner and news director, began his involvement with the station in 1992. WIBG-FM is described as the most powerful AM broadcast station in the Atlantic City-Cape May market.
