Since 1984, the station has maintained a 100-watt power output. Beyond its music and student-produced shows, it collaborates with the Talking Information Center to broadcast accessible content for the visually impaired during its off-air hours. In 2011, the station expanded its reach by launching an online stream, making its content available to a global audience. In recent years, the station has explored transitioning to an entirely online format to potentially reduce regulatory burdens and maintenance costs associated with FM broadcasting. As of 2023, it was conducting a trial run as an internet-only platform, with ongoing discussions regarding its long-term operational strategy. Student involvement is central to its operation, with individuals like Michael Trueswell, a senior History major, and Kyle, a senior Communication Arts major, contributing to its programming, including shows such as "The Dial" and "Thrashing Thursdays."
