The Shark - Simmons University Radio

The student-run radio operation of Simmons University, streaming live internet programming continuously from studios located on the third floor of Lefavour Hall in the university's Communications Department. Broadcasting twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week, the station is accessible to the general public as well as students, faculty, staff, and alumni. Programming encompasses a wide range of musical genres along with specialty shows developed in collaboration with various academic departments across the university. The station holds membership in the Intercollegiate Broadcasting System and maintains an affiliation with the IBS/Backbone Student Radio Network, through which student producers have received awards for their work. The station serves as a practical training environment for students pursuing careers in broadcasting and media.
