Dieser Radiosender bietet ein vielfältiges Programm.

A commercial radio station broadcasting at 107.7 FM with the on-air brand "Hot 107.7," owned by Cumulus Media and licensed in Birmingham, Alabama. The station carries an urban adult contemporary format and also serves as the flagship outlet of the University of Alabama at Birmingham Blazers Radio Network. Studios are located on Goodwin Crest Drive in Homewood, while the transmitter is situated atop Red Mountain. The station operates as a Class C1 facility with an effective radiated power of 42,000 watts. The station signed on September 15, 1969 as WENN-FM, the sister station to WENN 1320 AM, and became the first FM station in Birmingham to target African-American listeners, broadcasting what was then called soul music — a mix of R&B and Motown. It remained the dominant urban FM outlet in the market for decades. In 1998, under new ownership, the 107.7 frequency shifted to an alternative rock format under the WRAX call sign, branding itself as "107.7 the X" and becoming one of the highest-rated alternative rock stations nationally despite broadcasting from a tower in Palmerdale, some 15 miles northeast of downtown, while most competitors broadcast from Red Mountain. In 2005, Citadel Broadcasting acquired alternative music station WANZ in nearby Tuscaloosa, creating a format conflict. To resolve the overlap, WRAX moved to 100.5 FM, and 107.7 was rebranded as WUHT, returning to an urban format on March 31, 2005. The station has since maintained its urban adult contemporary programming, covering R&B, hip-hop, and related genres while continuing its role as a UAB athletics broadcast partner.
