A radio station broadcasting on 103.9 MHz FM, licensed to Ava, Illinois, with a Southern Gospel Music format. The station serves a regional listenership encompassing Carbondale, Murphysboro, Du Quoin, and Pinckneyville in southern Illinois. Founded in 1982 by Harold and Carlene Lawder, it was acquired in March 2021 by Danny and Lee Ann Hood through their company Mountain Valley Media LLC. Danny Hood, a former pastor, evangelist, television host, and television station manager, co-hosts an evening radio program on the station. Lee Ann Hood, a Cairo, Illinois native, has a long association with Mountain Valley Media. Programming includes nationally syndicated religious broadcasters Adrian Rogers, Charles Stanley, Jack Graham, and David Jeremiah. A locally produced weekday program, "The Will Stephens Show," airs from noon to 1 p.m. and features interviews with Illinois newsmakers. The station also broadcasts Pinckneyville Panthers sports. Sunday programming includes live services from Immanuel Lutheran Murphysboro and recorded content from Elm Street Baptist Church in Murphysboro, as well as the Living in Grace program. The station is managed by Will Stephens and maintains offices in Ava, Illinois.
