This would be a massive attack, said Trump to journalists on board a plane on the way to Washington. The American leader also reported that the United States and Iran intend to resume negotiations on August 3.
1:08 Russia has always remained open to negotiations on the regulation of the conflict, and the consideration of constructive proposals, including the format of contacts, has never been rejected. This was stated by the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation Mikhail Goluzin. According to him, it was the Ukrainian side that interrupted the negotiation process and subsequently itself forbade negotiations with Russia.

1:33 Sprecher 3 Mothers of teenagers killed in Thailand from Tyumen have not yet been allowed to see their bodies. The investigation will take place only after receiving official documents from the embassy. This was told by a woman about the Komsomol truth. According to her, the attackers were dressed in a police uniform, which is why the children did not suspect the danger. The killers wanted to kidnap their bike. Earlier it became known that criminals were detained, they are threatened with a death penalty. Russian athletes Elizaveta Kuzina and Ilya Malchanov won the silver medal of the European water sports championship in Paris. The duo took second place in mixed synchronized water jumps from a three-meter trampoline. As a result of the program, the Russians lost only to rivals from Italy. For our athletes, this award was the sixth at the tournament, where they perform in neutral status for the first time since 2021. On the Earth, the first magnetic storm began in August. The intensity of the phenomenon was estimated by experts as weak and average. This was reported in the laboratory of solar astronomy of the Institute of Space Research of Iran. As the scientists noted, the duration will be just a few hours. The ejection of solar plasma reached our planet in the afternoon. However, the levels of the geomagnetic storm have grown only now. According to the Central Bank, the US dollar is worth 79.46 rubles, the euro is 91.19 rubles, the yuan is 11.77 rubles. In Moscow, on Monday, there is little rain, plus 19, plus 25.
3:01 In St. Petersburg, it is not expected to rain, plus 14, plus 23. Read more news in the Russian messenger Max on the official Komsomolka channel. Victoria Fomenko, Information Service, Radio Komsomolskoye Pravda.
3:52 Sprecher 4 Well, the Olympics and the Olympics, the young fans of rappers will say, what's wrong with it? There were no Olympics, there were no cities, opening ceremonies, records, scandals, a lot. But the Olympics-80 means so much for our country that there is not enough air to talk about it. Imagine the USSR of the 70s. One party, one truth, one multi-year leader. It seems that everything is possible, but something is impossible. You can't doubt. Almost everyone can't go abroad. There seems to be everything in the stores, but there seems to be nothing. GDR walls and Yugoslav shoes. Everyone seems to be full, but everyone knows what it is to talk in the kitchen and to give up. They seem to laugh at the dissidents, but the feeling that something is wrong is with everyone. Or rather, that's how it is. But when someone speaks loudly about the advantage of the socialist system, it is immediately clear whether he is a fool or a careerist. And this is the case with the people who have recently, only 35 years ago, experienced the most terrible war. Everyone feels this war at the tip of their fingers, as well as the pride for hockey, ballet and space. because all this is contrary to both the war and the entire hostile world. Pride mixed with realization of reality.
5:20 Confidence that we are still better than them. And doubt whether we are better.
5:27 Sprecher 6 Do you remember how we lived by the expectations of this day?
5:34 Sprecher 2 How we protected this fire on its long journey?
5:48 Sprecher 5 I was ready to take part in the Olympics, but we were still worried.
5:53 Sprecher 6 We wanted the celebration to be successful.
5:59 Sprecher 4 Rumors are the main and most reliable media. The war in Afghanistan, which is not scary yet, because the faith in the army is almost absolute, and suddenly the Olympics.
6:10 Sprecher 6 When we arrived in the Olympic village, the builders had just left.
6:16 Sprecher 4 Protagent Andriyevsky, a soldier in the 80s, was in charge of the order at the Olympics.
6:23 Sprecher 6 And there were a lot of different shortcomings, shortcomings, marriages and just negligence. Well, let's say, if we painted the windows, then in addition to the frames, more paint was on the windows. If we laid the tiles, then all the rest of the tiles will definitely be glued. and all the other tiles were removed from the base. We cleaned it all up, prepared it, cleaned it up, prepared for the meeting of the athletes. And we filled our floors with the necessary inventory and clothes. Actually, the main task of the cadets was the duty of the maidens. One person per floor.
6:59 20 guests lived on the floor. Two people in each room. There was one cadet who had to clean up, fill up the beds, change the laundry, take out the garbage and monitor the safety on this floor. In addition, we were prepared for a month to ensure fire safety, especially evacuation of people from high-rise buildings. The fact is that at that time in Moscow there was not enough funds for evacuation from the upper floors. In general, the fire stairs were taken only up to the 9th floor. And everything above the 9th floor, evacuation was provided through the roof, and then already on the roof with the use of helicopters. But thank God, nothing like this happened during the entire Olympics. We were still performing tasks, we were trained in the elevator industry, we were trained in general to observe so that there were no terrorist attacks. The fact is that in 1972, during the Olympic Games in Munich, The Israeli athletes were captured, there were a lot of victims, and our government, having organized the Olympics, could not allow anything like this in Moscow. And nothing happened.
8:08 Sprecher 4 The party top, which was fastened to all buttons, had already formed, in any case, its anecdotal image of the old people who had clung to power. Brezhnev, who by the number of titles of the hero of the USSR has already overtaken Pokryshkin and is approaching Zhukov. How did they decide? With difficulty. Freedom broke into us together with the Olympics. People who can be said to be thinking about us in any case. Other languages, suddenly allowed Pepsi and Adidas. The USSR itself became abroad for a short time. time became abroad.
8:45 Sprecher 2 Everything was very well organized. There were no delays, but there was no delay in the bus either.
8:52 Sprecher 6 Georgi Boft, journalist, political scientist. In the 80s he accompanied foreign tourists.
8:59 Sprecher 2 No one disappeared from tourists, did not throw out any fortunes, did not arrange provocations either. Well, at least not in my case. He did not promote homosexuality. It seems to me that at that time Nobody in the world knew about homosexuality and that it was not propagandized. I don't remember any of the incidents.
9:19 Sprecher 4 Unexpectedly, the Kremlin propagandists were right. They said that the boycott announced by the USA and its allies would not affect our games.
9:28 Sprecher 2 The audience was happy to welcome any individual athlete who violated this boycott. Of course, we were offended that we were boycotted because of some war in Afghanistan. In general, people perceived it as injustice in relation to our Olympics, because we were well prepared. Now, for example, there would be enough audience to say that this is how it should be, and let's give even more sanctions. But at that time I did not meet such moods at all. There was not so much anger as these scumbags Americans, but it was around myself that I saw such an annoyance. It's a pity that they will not come. But there was no anger that we will win all the medals. It was really a pity for people that the whole world did not come to us, and the Western world, in general, boycotted. And when someone came, some individual athletes, they were really warmly welcomed.
10:35 Sprecher 4 Everything went like in a fairy tale. The Soviet people liked to think that the whole world was crying together with us when they saw the flying bear. But now it is clear that it does not matter. It is important that we cried almost the whole country. After the Olympics, the world was no longer the same, and the USSR began its way to disappearance. But it started at the peak of its power with the 1980 Olympics in Moscow. The Olympic bear, drawn by the wonderful Viktor Chizhikov, was the human face of the USSR. This is how we wanted to see ourselves, to feel ourselves. There are no ideal countries and nations, and we had plenty of darkness. But all the romance of the time, several post-war generations, all the light that was, rose in the sky above Luzhniki during the closing ceremony of the 22nd Olympic Games. And above this point, the Soviet Union could no longer rise.
11:41 The Moscow Olympics lasted for 16 days, from July 19 to August 3, and each of them was filled with various events, victories, defeats, and even, it would seem, tragedies not directly related to the Olympic Games, such as the death of Vladimir Vysotsky.
12:03 At the stadium of Luzhniki, during the ceremony, the Olympic fire of the Olympic Games 80 was lit. The Soviet government thought for a long time who would become the very athlete who would be honored with this honor. At first, they met at the candidacy of Viktor Saneyev, a famous athlete and still the only three-time Olympic champion in triple jump. But one of the bosses suddenly realized that Saneyev was from Abkhazia, and this circumstance was considered politically incorrect. It was urgent to find someone from Russia. And then they remembered the legendary basketball player Sergey Belov. In the address of the birthplace he had a politically correct Tomsk region. The steps on which Belov was supposed to climb to the Olympic torch turned out to be devilishly slippery, and during the night they had to be hammered with special ribs. Despite the fact that the USSR signed a contract for the equipment and the torch with the Japanese company Mizuno, Saneyev and Belov ran in Adidas sneakers. And the whole world saw it. The scandal turned out to be grandiose. Especially against the background of popular sayings such as today you wear Adidas, and tomorrow you sell your homeland.
14:26 Sprecher 1 We know what will happen. And you be aware of it. Operative news, accurate forecasts, loud guests and important meanings. Only on Radio Komsomolskoye Pravda.
14:45 It was said on Komsomolskaya Pravda Radio.
14:48 Sprecher 5 Ivan Timofeev, Director General of the Russian Council on International Affairs, about the peculiarities of the development of Russia.
14:55 Sprecher 4 There are two schools of thought.
14:57 Sprecher 5 The first is to understand our civilization as a kind of set of values.
15:00 Sprecher 4 And, in general, everything is correct, and collectivism, and to accept the spiritual, material. You can't agree with all of these.
15:06 Sprecher 2 It's all important.
15:07 Sprecher 4 But if we dig into any civilization,
15:09 Sprecher 5 in any civilization there is collectivism.
15:12 Sprecher 4 Any civilization will collapse if it does not have the set of spiritual values that we are talking about. This is important a priori. So we need to find an answer somewhere else. I am looking for it in the material.
15:24 Sprecher 2 That is, those material conditions, material features of our society, our civilization, our state-civilization, which are different from each other.
15:32 Sprecher 4 It seems to me that this is a special way of assimilating space. We are just a large transcontinental country. how it was formed is one of the most important parameters of our civilization. Moreover, we are not just a civilization of a large space, there are other large countries, but we are a space of inconvenience. That is, historically, we have mastered very inconvenient places for life, we have mastered them heroically, in general, sometimes, and we have been doing this for many centuries. By the way, one more thing. The material aspect of our civilization is the long-term existence of our state.
16:04 Sprecher 2 That is, we, as a state, have lived in fear for a very long time.
16:08 Sprecher 1 It was said on Radio Komsomolskaya Pravda. I listen to Radio Komsomolskaya Pravda, because here is the most verified and operative information. And I recommend it to you. All the truth about summer. On Radio Komsomolskaya Pravda. Some species of butterflies migrate for thousands of kilometers in summer.
17:25 Sprecher 4 The first Soviet gold was won in the very first competition. It was won by the shooter Alexey Melentyev. In the pistol shooting he set a new world and Olympic record of 581 points. The record lasted for 35 years. The gold medalist of the USSR team began with this medal. At the end of the Olympics, the Soviet athletes won 80 gold, 69 silver and 46 bronze medals. The GDR team had only 47 medals of the highest level. The 80 Olympic medals were made at the Moscow Coin Court. They turned out to be very laconic. On one side, the goddess of victory, Mika. On the other, the emblem of the 80 Olympic Games and the Olympic torch. But there was only 6 grams of gold in the gold medals. They covered the silver of the 925th test with a thin layer.
18:28 The entrance to the Olympics was not cheap. The same two rubles is a decent amount of money for that time. But due to the boycott, some countries gave their tickets to dozens of thousands. In their turn, in the USSR, they were bought by organizations and sold to their employees with a discount of up to 70%. So the residents of Moscow, who were not taken out of the city during the Olympic Games, if desired, could quite get into the competition themselves.
19:00 The 1980 Olympics were Vladimir Salnikov's star hour. He won three gold medals, the first of which was a 1,500-meter freestyle with a world record. Salnikov was the first to swim out of 15 minutes, but he himself did not believe that he would be able to achieve such a result. The next was a 400-meter gold medal and a 4x200 victory in the relay. Vladimir Salnikov still regrets that his main rival, the American, Brian Goodall, could not come to Moscow due to the boycott. But there was no doubt that Salnikov would still come out of their duel the winner.
19:37 Soviet gymnast Alexander Detyatin became a real hero. At the Olympics in Moscow, he won three gold medals, four silver and one bronze, that is, he climbed the pedestal of honor in all disciplines. Never before have gymnasts won 8 awards in one game. Thanks to this result, Detyatin entered the Book of World Records.
20:07 Vladimir Vysotsky was not at the forefront of the competition. Only one newspaper wrote about the death of the poet, bard and actor.
20:15 But the whole dehumanized Moscow somehow found out about the death of Vladimir Vysotsky.
20:58 The funerals took place on July 28. Despite the fact that the streets of the city were blocked, and the metro stations did not work for the exit, crowds of people gathered in the vicinity of the theater on Taganka.
21:09 According to some data, there were about 100,000 people who came to say goodbye to the actors. During the funerals, the order was provided by 700 policemen. They were dressed in a ceremonial white uniform. This was the uniform that was supposed to be worn by the Ministry of Internal Affairs during the Olympic Games. Another, but already a sports tragedy, the USSR basketball team lost to Yugoslavia and lost their chances for gold. The US team did not come to Moscow because of the boycott. This means that many other teams have a real chance to win the championship. First of all, the USSR dreamt of gold. It was in 1972 that she managed to do the only impossible and win the Olympic tournament for the Americans. But first, the USSR team lost two points to Italy, which was playing under the Olympic flag. And then she failed to save the situation and win the victory over Yugoslavia at the right moment. 91-101. In the end, the Italians played the Yugoslavs in the final, and the match for the bronze became an almost unnecessary consolation for us. The head coach of the USSR national team, Alexander Gomelsky, appointed himself to be responsible for the defeat from Italy. He had a heart attack, and then a long treatment followed. But Gomelsky was not removed from the national team, and in 1988 he still won the Olympic Games with it.
22:38 And now, on the football field, the bar saves the goal of our opponents several times. Then followed another very disappointing defeat. The USSR football team lost to the opponents from the GDR. Some consider this to be the most disappointing fiasco of the Olympics. To win the tournament, many stars of Soviet football were called under the banner of the team. Rinat Dasaev, Oleg Romantsev, Aleksandr Chivadze, Vladimir Bessonov, Yuri Gavrilov, Sergei Andreev, Valery Gazaev, Fedor Cherenkov. Konstantin Beskov was their coach. But in the semi-final, the USSR team went head-to-head with the defense of the GDR team. Having missed the start of the game, the Russians could not play back. And the victory in the match for the third place, as in basketball, was a weak consolation. Therefore, the players of that national team do not like to remember about the Olympics-80.
23:53 The first Olympic Games in the country of the victorious socialism was also accompanied by the first mass boycott of the sports forum, which broke the world. At the end of December 1979, the special forces of the Soviet army entered Afghanistan and on the eve of the New Year they stormed the palace of the current leader of the country, Amin, destroying both him and the palace guards. The US and all NATO countries immediately condemned the introduction of the Soviet troops into a complex Asian country.
24:23 Washington, followed by London and Ottawa, Bonn and Tokyo, declared that Moscow had to be punished. On January 3, 1980, the General Secretary of the National Olympic Committee of the United States, Donald Miller, threw us into the air. The Olympic Games are not a toy in the confrontation between the West and the East. The next day, US President Jimmy Carter said that free athletes from free countries are not allowed to go to the USSR. Half a year was left before the start of the 1980 Olympics. The planet was divided into two almost equal parts. In the national Olympic committees of 65 countries, the voices sounded that their athletes would not shine with force, speed and accuracy at competitions in the aggressor country. But despite the fact that the UN General Assembly condemned the entry of the Soviet troops into Afghanistan by the majority of votes, they did not vote in an emergency session to deprive Moscow of the right to hold the Summer Games. The President of the International Olympic Committee, Lord Michael Killanin, spoke of the main principles of Olympism and that sports and politics should not be hindered, for which the native of London was called the Red Lord. Meanwhile, despite constant threatening statements about non-participation in the Stats in the Empire of Evil, only on April 12, 1980, in the headquarters of the National Olympic Committee of the United States in Colorado Springs,
25:51 it was officially announced that the star-striped team will not fly to Moscow in July.
25:57 Sprecher 2 I think it was Carter's specific policy.
26:01 Sprecher 6 Georgi Boft, journalist, political scientist. In the 80s, he accompanied foreign tourists.
26:32 Sprecher 2 But the army in Afghanistan was not forgiven. Apparently, then they felt that the Soviet Union could break their neck, and they decided to arrange a demonstration for him later. In general, it turned out to be quite sharp, because it then collapsed on September 11 for America itself.
26:51 Sprecher 4 The closest allies, the British, seemed to have taken the bait, and the Prime Minister herself, the Iron Margaret Thatcher, and her cabinet openly pressed on their Olympians. However, the British Olympic Association, led by Dennis Follows, decided to join the Union. However, they went to Luzhniki with the sign of the British O.A. and with five rings under the white flag. Just like the French, the Australians, the Dutch. There were only 14 teams. Italy boycotted the 1980 Games, forbidding its athletes to fly to Moscow. But the judo player Ezio Gamba deserted from the military unit and became an Olympic athlete.
28:15 Sprecher 1 If you are asked what you are listening to, answer confidently – Radio Komsomolskoye Pravda. After all, Radio KP is the most relevant and star guests.
28:30 Spoken on Radio Komsomolskoye Pravda.
28:33 Sprecher 3 Politologist Alexey Pilko about why Vladimir Zelenskiy has spoken about ceasefire.
28:39 Sprecher 6 While the current regime exists in Ukraine, it will not be a truce, but a preparation for a new war against Russia.
28:44 Sprecher 2 Therefore, it is better to fight for 15-20 years than to allow this regime to remain in Ukraine. Moreover, now this regime is experiencing quite big problems,
28:53 Sprecher 4 because those who win or think that they win, do not see themselves. Constant hysterics, demands for a truce along the front line. No, of course, the Ukrainian political leadership understands perfectly well that their problems will be quite serious,
29:06 Sprecher 2 and the social and economic system of Ukraine and its state mechanism may not withstand the invasion of the war. If we leave this regime, the basis of which is Nazism, Russophobia, alive, then it will, of course, mean huge problems for us. A constant call for security on our western borders, which we do not need. Therefore, it is necessary to finish it now, so that this regime will never exist again.

29:54 All the truth about summer. On the radio Komsomolskoye Pravda. The flowers of the sunset turn after the sun during the day.
30:23 Sprecher 3 With the news in the studio, Victoria Fomenko, hello.
30:26 Sprecher 1 About the special operation.
30:28 Sprecher 3 Russian aviation struck the control points of the drones and the location of the dislocation of Ukrainian troops in the Kharkov region of the DPR. Objects of three enemy brigades in the areas of Prudyanka, Senkovo and Rai-Gorodok were hit by fire. This was reported by the Ministry of Defense of Russia. As noted by the Ministry, the crew used FAB air bombs and the H-39 missile, successfully hitting all intended targets.
30:51 Sprecher 1 About weapons.
30:52 Sprecher 3 The United States and Ukraine continued negotiations on the transfer of Kiev technologies for the production of Patriot complexes. The parties are trying to agree on the licensing and release of munitions in the Ukrainian territory. This was stated by American Congressman Mike Turner. He noted that the dialogue will help to solve the problem with the acute shortage of interceptor missiles. Earlier, Ukrainian PVO funds could not intercept any of the Russian hypersonic missiles . oil began to get cheaper on the night of August 3 at the time of the US President Donald Trump's statement about Iran, the price of the brand fell by 8.2 percent, and now the oil costs 82 dollars 66 cents per barrel, according to trade data, the price of October futures on Brent oil is particularly noticeable, it fell by almost 8.3 percent in comparison with the previous closure, the current price of Brent oil is estimated at the value of July 16 Until August 3, the price on the mark was much higher. Earlier, Donald Trump announced an urgent negotiation with the Iranian side. He claims that the conversation should be held on August 3. According to the President of the United States, technical groups from both countries are actively working on future peace initiatives.
32:01 Sprecher 1 About the elections
32:02 Sprecher 3 In Russia, an application for participation in remote electronic voting at the upcoming elections has started. You can apply through the State Services portal until September 14. In October this year, the online format will be enough for 33 regions. At the same time, in Moscow, the electronic voting will take place on its own platform. Therefore, residents of the capital do not need to register in advance.
32:24 Let's change the federal list of textbooks that are allowed to be used to organize the educational process in Russian schools. The corresponding list was approved by the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation by its orders. It is reported that textbooks on social science by Dmitry Medvedev and textbooks on history by Vladimir Medinsky have been included in the list. It was previously reported that in the 10th and 11th classes, programs on five subjects will be updated. This is related to the achievements of modern science.
32:52 Sprecher 1 About records
32:54 Sprecher 3 Russian singer Vanya Dmitrienko was included in the Book of Records of Russia as the youngest artist who collected Luzhniki. This is reported by TASS. The artist himself reported about all the tickets sold on his Telegram channel, publishing a concert poster with the mark of sold out. The information was also confirmed on the official site of Luzhniki.
33:50 Sprecher 4 Part 3 From Western European countries, only 7 countries passed the national flags.
33:57 However, 24 African countries, who had been mounting the previous Games, happily plunged into the atmosphere of the Russian Olympic holiday.
34:07 Sprecher 6 There were different delegations, different people.
34:10 Sprecher 4 Agent Andreevskiy, a soldier in the 1980s, was keeping order at the Olympics.
34:40 Sprecher 6 African countries were the first to come and the last to leave. I remember that the Seychelles Islands came a week or two before the beginning of the Olympics and left a week or two after the end of the Olympics. They were among the last. Moscow liked it, they lived there. They didn't live there, I can say. And the Poles won one or two Olympic medals. Half of the Polish delegation were managers, coaches, masseurs, doctors, sports officials. They all brought jeans, T-shirts, sneakers and offered to buy something from them all the time. But we were politically forged, it was forbidden to us, so we did not buy anything from them. Actually, there was no money to buy. Well, somewhere they went out to the city, sold something there, earned money. It didn't concern us anymore. But when you go into the room of some Polish coach, in all the cabinets, in all the doors, in all the chairs, there are all the jeans for sale everywhere. Well, the Poles, in general, did not show themselves very well. They treated us very carefully. It was possible to find banana skins in the beds of Polish athletes or managers, find skin from a banana, rotten fruit, throw it there and not pay attention.
36:02 Sprecher 4 Surprisingly, then the Chinese People's Republic also joined the boycott from the imperialist countries.
36:09 The relationship between the USSR and the People's Republic of China in those years was not in its best days. The obstruction, arranged by its main strategic opponent, the Americans, led to the fact that athletes from only 80 countries flew to the Soviet Union. And that action provoked a counterattack. The USSR and a number of its allies did not send the teams to the next Games 84 in Los Angeles, USA.
36:35 Sprecher 6 It's a big lie that not everyone came, not everyone celebrated this Olympics. In 4 years we did not go to the Olympics in America either, as if to take revenge. But for the athletes who participated, there was no Christmas, there was no politics. Athletes set records and won medals, because an athlete's life is short, and the four-year phase, for some, these Olympic Games were already the last, so everyone performed in a very, very good way in terms of sports.
37:07 Sprecher 4 It is worth mentioning here about the funniest and most touching story associated with the boycott of the Olympics. Austria was among those countries that decided to participate in the Moscow Games. But the Austrian federation of horse sports showed its will and declared a boycott. It refused to send to Moscow one of the main contenders for the gold medal in the race for the Elizabeth Teuer championship. The situation turned out to be threatening. But the world champion of Formula 1 Niki Lauda came to help his girlfriend. His small two-engine Steurer plane and her horse broke through all the bans and landed in Sheremetyevo-2. He tried his best, driving the car, avoiding the slightest air holes. The horse looked at me in the cockpit all the way and rejoiced, said Niki Lauda. And it was not in vain. Elisabeth Theurer and her happy horse Mon Cheri won the gold of the 1980 Olympics.
38:13 Sprecher 1 Elisabeth Theurer from Austria, on her gray Mon Cheri, won over everyone with harmony, plastic and movement.
38:24 Well, in any case, the overwhelming majority. I had to overcome a lot of obstacles to come to Moscow.
38:32 Sprecher 2 But I happily said about us here, becoming a champion.
38:37 Sprecher 4 The year 1980 was full of events. Although the news of sports has almost never had a political background, it was this year that sports and politics mixed so much that even the most ambitious political scientists had to urgently study sports terminology. It all started with the first American newspapers published in 1980 that the then US President Jimmy Carter intends to break all ties with the Soviet Union and boycott the Summer Olympics in Moscow.
39:52 The CIA, including through open sources, warned Carter that sports boycott could lead to unpleasant consequences. But on January 22, 1980, American media published the president's ultimatum. The United States boycotts the Moscow Olympics if Soviet troops are not withdrawn from Afghanistan within one month. Carter's ultimatum has no consequences. On March 21, the White House officially passed a statement to the press that American athletes will not go to Moscow. In violation of the Olympic map, demanding from the countries that signed it to resist any pressure, political, religious or economic, they began to make attempts to transfer the place of the summer Games to another country. The International Olympic Committee did not submit to the terms. Sportsmen and journalists through newspapers thanked Mock for this. Carter even persuaded boxer Muhammad Ali to go to Africa in order to persuade the leaders of Tanzania, Senegal and Nigeria to refuse to send their national sports teams to Moscow. The tourney of the black boxer was not accepted. Tanzanian President Julius Nyerere refused to accept the athlete. African media wrote that Nyerere was offended by the fact that the United States sent some kind of political pawn to him for negotiations.
41:17 American newspapers published an interview with the American athlete Anita de France, who, despite the boycott, decided to come to Moscow. We are honest citizens of the United States of America, but we are a team that is never mentioned now. We do not exist.
41:37 In a few days before the Olympics ended triumphantly, when the image of the famous Olympic bear was published on the pages of newspapers and magazines in almost all countries of the world, the American media put a shameful point in the history of the boycott. Jimmy Carter decided to compensate the American athletes for their lack of participation. He decided to award 461 members of the American national team with the gold medals of the Congress. Since a huge number of people had to be awarded, they decided to save money in the Congress and entrusted the U.S. coin yard to give away not standard gold, but brass medals, which were decided to be gold. Instead of consolation, athletes were insulted. By the way, right after the Russian Olympic Games at the U.S. Swimming Championship, they came up with a great show. They added three more lines to the board that reflected the results on the eight-way pool.
42:36 The time was shown by the winners of the games in Moscow. One of those who swam faster in America than his 200-meter butterfly was Craig Bairdsley. Moreover, he set a world record. He was only 20 years old at the time. Years later, he was unable to win any competition. The Olympics were his only chance at success. I was not against boycotts. I thought we were doing something good. But over the years, I realized that this was just another political trend. It had nothing to do with sports. 30 years later, he confessed to Burtzley.
44:34 Sprecher 1 Every man should build a house, grow a son and set up a receiver on Radio Komsomolskoye Pravda. I listen to Radio Komsomolskoye Pravda and recommend it to you.

44:54 Sprecher 3 The Deputy Executive Director of the Russian Geographic Society Ilya Gurov on the formation of values and priorities.
45:02 Sprecher 2 I have a friend who is an archaeologist. I ask him, why do you bring 30, 40, 50, 60 children from your archaeological expeditions every year? Do you bring orphans from children's homes? Not all of them for the sake of becoming archaeologists. He says, no, of course. Well, one or two are good, the school is being formed. But the most important thing is that he will always remember what a monument of the native history is. So that later, when he becomes a official, there will be a dilemma whether to demolish the historical building or not, he would save it. If he becomes a journalist, he will want to tell about it, because that's what it is. But the thing that people do, it seems to me, is much more important than a lot of things.
45:42 Sprecher 1 It was said on Radio Komsomolskoye Pravda. From Monday to Friday at 7 a.m. Moscow time. Listen to Radio Komsomolskoye Pravda, the program What will happen? Our presenters see what is happening, know how to react to it and are ready to tell you what will happen.

47:25 Sprecher 4 These games were remembered by the Muscovites as an unprecedented abundance in food stores. After decades, these games are clearly associated with Pepsi-Cola, Fanta, canning beer and Finnish servillat. But how much did these products cost? And could the Soviet people afford them? It is believed that the average salary in the USSR at that time was about 130 rubles, and on average, 1 ruble at that time is equal to 220 rubles today. For example, 0.33 bottles of Pepsi appeared in the USSR a few years before the 1980 Olympics.
48:03 Sprecher 2 Unacquainted items associated with export from Finland appear.
48:10 Sprecher 6 Writer, TV presenter.
48:12 Sprecher 2 These are, first of all, all kinds of smoked sausages, sealed cellophane.
48:18 Sprecher 4 By the way, of course, the leader of this Olympics is the Fanta drink and all kinds of juices, mainly Finnish. If we compare it with Soviet drinks, especially with soda, by the way, which were really tasty, they were inferior, first of all, to the exotic, of course.
48:36 Sprecher 2 We could say that we would still buy something similar in stores.
48:41 Sprecher 3 But with Fanta, with Fanta it is unknown, it could disappear right away.
48:45 Sprecher 2 Look, these wonderful plastic cups, which were not there before.
48:49 Sprecher 1 Of course, they had this mark of this Fanta printed on them. And it seemed to us that this is the world of the West, which is so mysterious.
48:57 Sprecher 4 Sometimes it was shown to us in the program of the International Panorama,
49:00 Sprecher 2 in some threatening context it was also reported about it. And suddenly there is nothing like this.
49:05 Sprecher 4 There is a world in which there are, in general, pleasant things.
49:08 Sprecher 2 And I wanted to understand what the philosophy of this whole world is.
49:13 Sprecher 6 For the first time, we saw various packaging, jams, butter, cream packaging, juices. Well, it was all Finnish packaging, which we did not have in the Soviet Union in stores before.
49:28 Sprecher 4 Protagent Andreevsky, in the 80s, a soldier, ensured order at the Olympics.
49:35 Sprecher 6 Fanta appeared for the first time. By the way, I was in charge of providing Fanta for the entrance. And as soon as it was over, a car came by phone and filled all the refrigerators. Well, it must be said that the athletes did not drink Fanta. Fanta was drunk mainly by the staff. Since then, I have not drunk Fanta for 40 years. In addition to Fanta, there was also real water in a glass bottle. Athletes could afford it.
50:10 Sprecher 4 The production of chewing gum was established first in Yerevan and Rostov-on-Don, and then in Estonia. By 1980, the line was opened at the Rotfront factory. There they produced orange, mint, coffee and strawberry gum. Their taste disappeared much faster than foreign chewing gums. But still, after the irises of golden keys, they seemed something fantastic. It is impossible not to remember the cigarettes of Marlboro. They were produced in Chisinau. The subject of the chic of that time. In the Olympics, a pack of such cigarettes cost 1 ruble. Then it quickly increased to 1.5 rubles. And it was expensive. Often, cigarettes from under Marlboro were paid easier.
50:54 The best olympiad talisman with a tear on its eyes flies away from the stadium on the air balls under the melody on the stands. Has there ever been a more touching farewell ceremony in the history of the Games?
51:07 Sprecher 6 The CK said that the bears do not fly, how can they fly away? In short, I came to Mosfilm, I made literally two takes and left, and forgot about it. It's been a month or two already, I came to close it, and suddenly I see Mishka taking Mishka out. The music began to be calm and gentle, and my voice started to sound. I'll tell you now, at first I didn't even know that he was still recorded as a duet.
51:38 Sprecher 1 This is Viktor Babushkin, the sound engineer, he made a mix.
51:41 Sprecher 5 I, Slyferov and the Samotsveta ensemble.
51:44 Sprecher 6 But we didn't see each other on the recording, so how he did it, how he recorded it, it went to hell. In fact, it was just a phonogram, and he flew away.
51:53 Sprecher 4 There were different legends about the bear that flew into the fairy forest.
51:59 The fact that there was a pilot inside it, the fact that the bear was beaten by the police, and the fact that the remains of the talisman were eaten by rats in the basements of the Olympic Committee. All this is not true. There were two Olympic bears. The same one, the participant in the ceremony, and its doubler. The doubler was then exhibited at the VDNK. The talisman landed two kilometers from the Luzhniki on Vorobyeva Gora. The talisman was not to be lifted from the Medvede Stadium on air balloons. So the talisman had to be pumped with helium. But the problem was that the inflated bear did not pass into the tunnel of the stadium. So when it arrived in Luzhniki, it had to be inflated, dragged to the arena, and then inflated again. After the Olympics, the world was really no longer the same. and the USSR began its path to disappearance. But it began with the peak of its power, with the 1980 Olympics in Moscow.
52:55 Sprecher 1 We remember each of these moments,
52:58 Sprecher 2 and that is why we say, the Olympics...
55:18 Sprecher 5 Hello everyone, this is a healthy conversation in the studio of Maria Bachenina. Have you ever felt like a Swedish table for mosquitoes? In the company, where everyone else was for some reason carried away. Congratulations, maybe you are just an incredibly tasty person. And no, it's not about blood. This myth has been unraveled by scientists for a long time. You were simply calculated by a unique biological algorithm, which has recently been described by researchers under the guidance of Professor Shinsuna Dena from the Medical University of Anhui. The hunt for mosquito females, yes, only girls, boys and mosquitoes bite harmless vegetarians, starts from afar. The first radar is carbon dioxide, which you exhale. For tens of meters, the insect feels your breath and flies at it like a lighthouse. That is why in the risk zone there are large people, active athletes and especially pregnant women who breathe for two. So if you are at the peak of cardio training, you are a shining New Year's lantern for mosquitoes. When the victim is about on the target, the main weapon is the smell of the skin. Scientists have found that mosquitoes are just crazy about carbonic acids that excrete your skin. And here lies the injustice of the universe. The level of these acids is your innate feature, which does not change for the rest of your life.
56:48 Mosquitoes are 100 times more active on the acid smell. And let's add more products of bacteria to our skin. And it turns out that it is useless to wash here. The microbes return to you as best friends instantly. But that's not all. Nature is still a joker. Malaria, dengue fever and the Zika virus have evolved to make infected people even more attractive to mosquitoes. This is how parasites increase their chances of jumping on a new victim, a real cyberpunk in the world of insects. And finally, a life hack for parties. If you wear dark clothes, especially black, red or dark blue, then you will become much more noticeable for mosquitoes. And if you also drink, for example, a glass of beer, the risk of bite increases by almost a third. Alcohol changes the composition of your sweat, making it immeasurable. And now you are no longer a guest at a picnic, but the main course. now you know the enemies in the face put on light be careful with beer and remember your body may seem imperfect to you but for a mosquito it can be the peak of culinary art
