Ellabätsch Radio

Founded in August 1983, this radio station emerged as a cultural counterpoint during a period of significant societal shifts. Its origins are intertwined with the formation of the rock band Ellabätsch, established with the intention of creating an alternative to prevailing societal trends. The station and band see themselves as representatives of the cultural heritage of Southeast Lower Bavaria and as pioneers of a global movement centered around the "Ellabätsch Lebensgefühl" (Ellabätsch way of life). For four decades, it has championed unbridled joie de vivre, independent of commercial interests, trends, and fashion. The programming reflects this ethos, focusing on an independent spirit and a distinct lifestyle.
